There has been a major review of the c documents C/AS1. This was driven by the government to reduce the risk for itself following the debacle known as “leaking Buildings”.

In April 2013 the existing C documents( C/AS1) documents are finished and cannot be used.

This has resulted in two ways to gain compliance after April next year. Up until that time you can use the old CAS1 or either of the new CAS1-7 or the C/VM2.

You have to use either the new CAS 1-7 documents or a CVM2 (Verification Method 2), you cannot mix and match, you use one or the other.

I have included on the following pages but if you are going to print these off, use the ones on the DBH website as these will be the most current. These are all free to download from the DBH website, there are links to these on the page describing these on this website.
